I used stock type bulbs everywhere on my car. Dash is a bit dim compared to what I look at with my modern car but it does the job just fine. I know some guys that have put in led's and said they were a bit too bright.
I bought an led for my dome light (have yet to install it) from a company called super bright led's. I got the link from somebody on another forum but the service was great. Forget if they were amazon or ebay but they have just about every led bulb you would ever need.
