I have always cleaned up parts with Kerosene. I have to clean out the oil pan and valley pan and oil pump and all the other little pieces that I will be reusing. What have you found to be the best "soak" to clean up and get gunk etc out of used parts. I know obviously I have to rid everything of any shavings from the failure but I want this stuff squeaky clean just like it was new when it goes back in.
