Starter grinds when hot
The starter on my car works great on the first start but after the engine warms up it either grinds like hell or wont even start it grinds so bad I give up. It just started doing it so I went and had a new pinion put on because it had been chewed up so bad and they said it tested fine and that it was just the pinion chewed up. I put it on and it started up great cold. Once it warmed up it started doing it again. I think it tested good because of course they only tested it cold
