+ battery cable routing?
For 70-72 +battery cable routing on RA and HO cars, i understand the cable runs from the starter, through cable retainers mounted to the motor mounts, that route the cable UNDER the motor mount and then up to the battery. Is this correct? it looks like only one of the cable retainers is available from Ames, which i have, but i don't know if it mounts to the FRONT motor mount bolt or the REAR motor mount bolt. Some applications have either 2 cable retainers or 3, but the drawings are not very clear. If you have this setup, can you post some photos of it? I have a 68 GTO, but I can't run the cable through the tube that was used 67-69 due to interference between the tube and the cast RA exhaust manifolds so i need an alternate solution, and the 70-72 way seems to be a good choice I don't want to burn the cable and start a fire!
