Yes, it sure could be! Just because I said the glove box mold changed for 71 doesn't mean it was a exact change over, especially on unique colors. I have seen 1 very early '71 with what I thought was a 1970 Only Subframe. Only one one I have ever seen. Some stuff could have been started early if they had to get it in a color not normally well stocked.
Gotta keep in mind they were putting out a Firebird every 3 minutes and F body's every 45 SECONDS ! This was about making money, not hand building our passion.
