I have a salesman order book, a reprint of the Firebird section from the 1970 dealer book (this was a large binder with all model info, colour charts ect, not the condensed pocket book a salesman would carry or have in his desk), and others.
I am pretty sure red line tires were not a thing.

I will have to dig further for the "TRL", because I do recall seeing it mentioned, but for now the reprint of the dealer book shows that for the Formula, sales code 'ML' (UPC code 'PL4') was $28.44 - this was the white letter tire.
