We used a 66 corvair rear ended for the transplant. We cut and modified the 62 tempest upper transaxler mount with the corvair upper to hold the spring cradle and shock tower. Welded a reinforcement plate to the back side of the rear seat area for the trailing arms. You had to play with the dimensions as each setup was not the same(?). This was preform at California Corvair in Chino, Ca.
