HA, I was going to be smart and link to a thread about someone also wanting 18's on their 70. Found it and it was you who started it! I hope you get those 650g's, I REALLY want them on my 72. I think they'd look great when I paint it the stock Revere Silver.
I still think you'll be fine w/18x8's and 4.5" backspace.
