Default NOS GM 481546 Rocker Moldings 1970-81 Firebird

This is a set of NOS GM #481546 Second Gen Firebird rocker panel moldings.

They are the real GM parts and not generic reproductions.

I bought these 15 years ago for one of my 1972 Firebird projects but never ended up using them. They are in extremely nice NOS condition. I have photographed every inch of them so please review all the photos. Any flaws they have, are ones they were originally manufactured with.

These also fit a variety of other second gen applications like the 1976 to 81 Camaro but the most common application is for the 1970 to 1974 Firebirds and Formulas (not used on the Trans Am).

Complete with the zinc-plated backing brackets, clips, and screws.

I don't have the original GM packaging - they originally came in that sticky, white, GM-logo paper with the yellow acidic glue that tends to damage anodized aluminum after any length of time, so I removed them from the packaging as soon as I got them, way back when. I will continue to search for the original wrapping but I think they crumbled into dust years ago.

I have had them wrapped in bed sheets inside a 7 foot long by 4 inch wide PVC pipe all these years. That is what I will be shipping them in so keep that in mind when you get the cost estimate for Fedex ground shipping.

$350 plus shipping. Pickup in NJ is welcome, too
