That piston is a bummer, glad to hear the block made it out relatively unscathed. Your car is otherwise so original so I probably would have went with some #96 heads to lower compression and increase valve size but it sounds like you’re really enjoying putting your foot in it so the KREs will fit the bill nicely. Your car sure looked great in that earlier snowfield pic among mostly GTOs.
