Just curious if you are aware that you have a 1969 upper cam sprocket on your engine? Not an issue if you are aware that the cam timing mark on the 69 sprockets are 180 degrees off from the 66-68 models years. So the cam sprocket timing mark points down for the 69 sprockets. The sprockets are ID'd by the large cast P/N on the front. The other year sprockets don't have it cast like that.

I just noticed that going back over the pictures you posted. I found that out the hard way in the 1970's working on one of my early cars. Had to rotate the dist 180 degress to get it to run.
