I just noticed that going back over the pictures you posted. I found that out the hard way in the 1970's working on one of my early cars. Had to rotate the dist 180 degress to get it to run.

Thankx Jeff, I'm aware of this since I posted the same pics in the overhead cammer group forum - Fred was the first to notice it.
Anyhow my brother already mentioned, when all timing marks are aligned #6 does fire - which he thought is unusual. but with that info about the sprocket we did know why.
