These could have been:
400 4bbl 4 speed Muncie, or
350 2bbl 4 speed Saginaw
There was also 1 SD-455 in the official 1973 numbers, likely a Grand Am, but little else is known.
There were 1113 1973 GTO's with manual transmissions, either 3 speed or 4 speed.
The guesstimate is maybe 600-1000 4 speed 1973 Grand Ams. They are not that uncommon. Tim Claremont at the old Grand Am Registry accounted for over 125 of them.
74 is rarer with only 833 4 speeds for all A-bodies.
