Agreed. The 187 number has been thrown around for years but if that was accurate, the 25 or so I've seen in the last 15 years in California would likely be a much lower number. Tim's registry would have been unlikely to account for so many as well as these were never super collectable or desired early on unlike the previous GTOs or the Super Duty F-bodies. I also agree that the number made was closer to 500 and maybe even near 1000. The real rare 4 speed Grand Am would be the 4 door, I've only seen 2 of them over the years.
