I have to agree with John Langer about 6.75 lb across the board break. Rams (NAShootout) rules would be worth looking at if an "honest" heads up NA shootout were to be reconsidered.

http://nashootout.com take a look at the different class rules.

http://www.nashootout.com/10.5.htm rules for 10.5" slick could be a reasonable guideline to find ideas for closer competition. Notice the sliding weight break John speaks of. Pro is lighter less restictive than 10.5 Radial is more restricted than 10.5.

Merely offering up a format guideline we (NAShootout) have and you are welcome to adapt any or all of the rules we use should you guys or others want to try this or something similar again.

I certainly would like to see all the fast NA door car Pontiacs at our events.

Bruce
Much better idea and set up..includes allot more Pontiac's
