Bought my '66 GTO in 1989 from the 2nd owner for $3K cash and a 1984 Yamaha FJ1100. I figure the cash deal was around $6K.

Numbers matching CA car with nice options, perfect interior and a repaint of original color. Won 3rd at a local Pontiac show soon after getting it.

In 1990 it was repainted the original color, Cordova top replaced, motor rebuilt along with all mechanicals and detailed the engine bay. Also added some factory options I liked. Totally done by '94. Paint still looks awesome today and the job back then cost under $3K.

Time has gone pretty quickly but I still drive and enjoy (though my wagon has been getting most of the miles recently
