I took this apart and rebuilt the carb years ago and put it on a shelf. I bought the complete '66 WT code engine out of a parts car, a '65 GTO. The guy I got it from started it for me right there in the yard. The choke even kicked down after it warmed up. The exhaust manifold still has the working butterfly valve.
I had the machine shop clean the engine up, I installed new rings, seals, bearings, etc. . Heads have been through a refresh also.
I have a tripower for it but decided that it might be smarter to start initially with the original 4bbl but it's been so long that I can't remember the details.     |
This carb is for A.I.R. California usage. Do you have all the A.I.R. parts on engine functional?
