Mike back on line, what is that red knob behind the Shifter? My guess is something to do with the rear end to give overdrive so you don't have to go from a 3 speed to a four speed. I saw something like it in some of my reading. My roommate went into the hospital and soon he and I will be ready to install my completed TH 400 Trans.
