Ok, just got back from looking at the cars. As is the case on many treasure hunts, the cars were not HO's as originally incidated. But they are heavily optioned. Here's an update:

Car No. 1: 4 speed WG block code. Mariner Tourquois Metallic, with Parchment Interior.
Options:
A/C
Hood Tach
Disk Brakes with steel rims and 'PMD disk brake' hub caps
Power Windows
Power drivers seat
AM/FM with electric antenna
Custom gauge cluster
Custom Sports Steering wheel
Console
Door edge guards, visor vanity mirror, outside remote mirror
Fender skirts
Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt wheel
Soft Ray Glass
H70X15 Wide Oval tires
Safe T Track rear

Car No. 2: Automatic YH block code. Signet Gold Metallic/White Top, parchment interior.
Options:
A/C, Disk Brakes, Power windows, and similar options as the Blue car.

The blue 4spd has rust in the trunk, quarters, rear window surrount and other usual spots. The zone/dealer is 22/373, but I don't know where that is.

The gold automatic car is dry as a bone, originally delivered to Abiline Texas.

Since these are not the HO motors, dad is less inclined to pursue them, but if anyone would like to provide information on rarity, or possible value before or after restoration, I'd appreciate the input.
Thanks.
