So I got these chrome seat knob replacements from Ames. Question….am I missing an insert clip or something ? I figured I could push this right on the steel lever on the side of the seat…BUT NOOOOOO….The opening in the new chrome knob is huge and of course won’t stay on. What’s the remedy? The original knobs have an Allen-head set screw on the bottom. Do the re-pops?
