Probably no better or worse than any other budget compressor, so for limited use it's probably okay. One brand I've been impressed with is California Air Tools - most oilless compressors are very noisy but their compressors are known for being very quiet. I see that they also sell some compressors with an aluminum tank, so there's no worries about rust.
