The re-pros Auto City sells were made off my original 61 Bonneville unit. Of course I did not get it back as they took it apart to copy. I got two new ones as payment and have not tried them yet because the car is apart. If you have an original you might try making sure the float is shaped the same as the original and checking the oms for correctness before installing. also make sure the ground is solid.
