I was very glad it all worked out in the end. It was very cool transporting a vehicle that I had drooled over at a cruise 3 years earlier! (65 2+2 conv black on black 421 4sp)
I would like to take this time to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my fellow "Tin Indian" lovers! I hope the big guy in red brings some goodies for you cars.
I am home now for the holidays, hopefully to finish my building addition & work on my cars as well as spend time with family.
My next available spot will be on or about January 11th from the New England area to either the Great Lakes area or the Southeast, as I have vehicles waiting in both areas!
This trip will be with the aluminum Ameri-Lite single car enclosed trailer with a dove-tail rear & a drive in rear door for safely & properly loading a vehicle, no matter how low.
Also, I was asked on another forum if I actually do all the transports I post...ABSOLUTELY, every available spot I post is an opening that is part of a longer trip & while almost every time the spots are filled. Even the very few times I don't fill a spot, I still run it to keep my schedule with all the other customers on that particular trip. I do NOT just post something hoping I can put a trip together.
I now have 3.5 million accident-free transport miles & will be starting my 35th year coming up. This equates to approx 23-2500 vehicles transported. Please see this link for hundreds of references/all positive feedback posted by the actual customers (I do not post my own feedback!)
