Their retirement community has all kinds of backup generators etc. and will bus them to Orlando hotels if they get an evacuation order. my inlaws moved to Ft Myers from MN early this year. inland a few miles, but canals nearby. Their home is on 2nd floor of a similar condo complex on a golf course. hopefully minimal damage to their condo. the rest, including their 2 late model cars, am sure will be a haul off material. About the only thing good about the situation is both of them have been in Texas for the last 8 days. a trip they delayed from a month ago.
