Tom retired in 2015 but Allan Padelford continues with the business and have heard nothing but good about their continuing service.
When I needed a power steering box for the Catalina wagon a couple years ago I called them but at that time they were too far out for me. I ended up going with a new 10:1 Lares box from Rock Auto that had the best price. I never noticed the somewhat quicker 12:1 steering box I put in the GTO probably because it was so close to the ratio in the daily driver. I do notice the really quick box in the wagon but like it.
