Button on the left is correct for '70 - mid 74 model Pontiac usage.
GM, not just Pontiac, went to the small yellow style trunk button in mid '74 production, and that exact style button was used up through the '80 models, if not '81's, at least on F-body's. Of note, the white lettering on the bezel area was used on only a very few runs of the greenish/turquoise trunk release buttons. Most, however, did not have that lettering, not a matter of the lettering wearing off.
