I've heard of negative vibes, also.
My budget back then was pretty minimal. I didn't have enough $%% to spend with them to test their business strength.
Seemed like every time I was in there. Someone was trying to return a "defective" carburetor...
The store in Oklahoma City did have Edelbrocks, not long after they were put on the market.
