My 68 FB had a shoulder harness attached to the roof and held in place against the headliner with a clip until needed. I installed 3 point retractable. The retractor is beside the seat and the shoulder portion is attached to that point on the roof. Also I installed 3 point retractable in my 66Chevy II. For it to work I had to weld nuts in a roof bulkhead for the shoulder 'point'. The headliner had to be removed for that. Some older cars had those nuts in place in case someone added a 3 point option.
