66 for me too. I wonder why? LOL A 66 GTO was the very first car I owned back in 1970... for 1100 bucks To me those 66 tail lights with 3 lights each are the best of all GTO years. Reason being you can do the Cougar and Shelby trick of sequential blinkers. And they're one of a kind never repeated again.
The 66's grills to me look like the car has a solid front to it with the full header panel. The 67's looks like something is missing up there. Tho the wire mesh is the coolest part of a 67 GTO's frontend. It's also the reason I've run with the 67 wire mesh in a set of 66 grills off and on for the last few years. Sure messes with some people's minds too.
