That sort of thing is certainly not limited to EVs - plenty of people have had delay problems these days with repairs on all sorts of cars. Just one example is my brother's Subaru Forester, he was in a collision over a
year ago and it's still in the body shop waiting for a replacement radiator core support to be delivered.
