Scott, I'm trying out the Mity Mounts on the 455HO in the GT-37. It hasn't hit the road yet, hopefully later this year, but these mounts do set the engine higher above the crossmember with 1/2" clearance. This is double the distance when I had with regular V8 motor mounts (the cheap Korean aftermarket junk) that crushed and allowed the oil pan to rock on the crossmember and rub against the centerlink only after a few years and a couple thousand miles of easy street driving. I do hope these mounts last longer and don't squash like the standard ones. They are wider and beefier no doubt, but hoping they do a better job. I have used the polyurethane motor mounts on 461 LeMans and they are quiet and don't transmit any vibration or noise into the interior, so another possible solution to consider.
