Rear end ratios for the Tempest/LeMans/GTO were available in the following ratios: 2.56, 2.78, 2.93, 3.08, 3.23, 3.36, 3.55, 3.90, and 4.33. Most commonly seen on Auto cars with A/C is the 2.93 ratio, Auto cars without A/C 3.23-3.36, 4 speed cars usually ran with 3.23 A/C or 3.36 std. 3.55 was more common with HO cars. 3.90 and 4.33 seldom seen....4.33 std on the early Ram Air cars. My favorite ratios for street driven '67 GTO's are a 2.93 with the TH400 trans and the 3.23 with the 4 speed trans.
