Friend of mine Dave Hoover just installed Speedmaster heads on his 474 in his 64 Tempest. Was having some issues with his E heads so he got a set of Speedmasters from Randy Repp. Only thing done to them was the valve springs were changed. Motor has a 240/254 @.050 .390 lobe lift 112 LSA hyd. roller, stock Torker II and a Vortech supercharger. Ran his best 1/8 th mile time of 6.24 and equaled his mph of 112. His Eheads were ported and had 2.11/1.77 valves. He's down in Louisiana at No Problem Raceway this weekend. The race is on MotormaniaTV. He is pleased with the performance of the heads.
