A dead tie, IMO. I've owned a '67 convertible for the past 33 tears, but my first car was a '66 GTO, and I've owned more '66's than any other year early goat. The '67 has a better grille and the stainless on the sides is nice. The '66 has those mean louvered tail lights. The '67 has a great TH400.....the '66 has a lowly 2 speed auto. The '66 has a tripower 389...the stuff of legend and song. The '67 has that great new Quadrajet 400 with big valve heads....and on and on. I like the '66 interior MUCH more than the '67, the pleats and the chrome ribbed console. I replaced the crappy plastic '67 window cranks and rear view with steel '66 pieces, which actually hold up....Both years are great, all else being equal, the '66 is looking a bit better, to me.....
