Default Autopsy Report. Good News!!!

Just got done tearing it down. So, we didn't break a rod and the bottom end is still solid! We lost an exhaust lifter. On the number 5 exhaust lifter the roller is gone. Found all of the parts in the pan. First clue was rocker was off that valve. I guess we were hearing popping back into the intake. Sure sounded like a bottom end knock but with everything being sheet aluminum it gave off a different kind of sound. More like a knock. Unfortunately the cam is hurt and there is some minor shrapnel damage on the underside of pistons 5 & 6. But nothing a little dremel work can't fix. I'm just glad to see the rotating assembly in tact. Big relief.
