[West Coast GTO]

Partial VIN by timing cover location- check.
YA stamping by top of head- check.
I was (and am) confused by a YA block in a 71 GTO. Why stamp (or re-stamp) a partial VIN on an engine block that was not installed in that body Pontiac.
