As mgarblik mentioned, yes, I believe this one should be the gold plating finish. I didnt want to send mine out so I used the Eastwood kit which comes with the gold paint, and red and green accent paints. It produces a different finish but it's a big improvement over what it looked like prior. Sorta looks like a ceramic coating but I like it and its protected.
