Kudos to the friend who sold it to a friend who had been admiring the car for a long time and will appreciate it. If the original owner family was enjoying the car, doubtful they would be selling it. No, the kid in the back seat didn’t look too thrilled but it might not be because dad was selling the car.
I’ll also add that the TA appears to be a $50k car in the current market. I think I’d kick myself a lot less for selling a $50k car than I would looking back and having sold the same car 40 years ago for two grand.
