I don't regret parting any of the ones I have parted! They all richly deserved parting.

Probably the rarest and most valuable was a Porsche 356. These things were noted for rust. It had been sitting unattended in a field for several years. Fortunately, the windows were broken out, so did not have to open the door to tie down the steering. After i got it home, I opened the drivers side door at which point the roof collapsed and the car buckled in half! The only salvage was the drivetrain. Everything else had been eaten by the rust bugs. One could stick one's finger through the body at any location!

Missouri winter salt and cinders are tough on car bodies; not to mention water pollution!
