Not sure, but thinking that 4 speed cars that came with 3.08 rear gears were 1:1 on the cable.
My car came with the box. Orignal owner told me he ordered the car with a lower rear gear than 3.23. What it was is a whole nother story.

I installed a one piece replacement cable from Pioneer. The Speedometer is accurate so, it appears that factory speedo connector is exactly just that, a connector- does not change speedo gearing
