The blower motor will probably draw 10-15A on start up and drop to 5-7A to run. An electric grid will draw a lot for longer periods requiring a more stout alternator. '71 they realized they needed to go to the larger 12SI alternator.
Either defogs were an option. Option 341 is the 6 cylinder engine.
