The Diesels are rare, but are a sweet machine.
MTD took over the Cub Cadet production operations in 1982, but the real downturn was in 1998 when they stopped producing the Cyclops series. The chassis was still basically the 82 series IH with revised plastic front clip and different rear sheet metal pan.
