Most advise to keep grease away from the last 6 inches at the speedometer end of cable.
Thanks for the info'advice. have never done that. I see my closest autozone has one in stock ($12.99) so, I plan to go there today to pick it up and try the fit. My car does have headers with larger exhaust pipe dia and an H pipe. will try the 80"
