Crower makes the shorter polylocks and they are available through Summit.

What I've found is things will fit when first put together but after the gaskets shrink you may find interference a year later when the valve cover bolts are tightened back up. I'd allow for at least an additional 1/8" clearance when first putting things together. I'm running HS 1.65's and .620" lift with stock chrome valve covers and ended up using two thick gaskets since one new gasket wouldn't quite have been enough after shrinkage.
