For those of you having success clearing full roller rockers with polylocks on the stock valve cover - are you using the 67+ valve covers like this?
I have 66 valve covers and they definitely don't clear - even with the thick gasket. Chrome is pitted so I was thinking of getting new ones anyway, but I'd prefer to get something that clears better. The 67+ look like they would have more clearance, but it's hard to tell from pics. This is what I have:
Hoping to keep my A/C, but it sounds like I should be prepared to modify the bracket.
