I run my seats pretty narrow, Old school, the way Joe Mondello taught me. Intake even on a street engine, about .040" wide off the outside of the valve face about .020" Exhaust I move inward some, about .030-.040 off the outside edge. .050-.060" wide maximum. It does depend on the shape and thickness of the margin as you know. It just looked like those were way to the stem side of the face. The pic was kind of hard to see. I guess the current trend is to go a little wider now?
