I have had some intake seats end up on the outside edge like that. My other Mentor, Colin Myers, of Parsons @Myers racing engines always said "don't worry about it". I guess he was ahead of his time! I am really thankful to have had excellent teachers over the many years. Joe Mondello was the most amazing to watch in person. He operated a big electric die grinder like an electric pencil. Incredible skill.
