Kenth is correct. You can also adjust the amount that the choke pull-off diaphragm opens the choke on startup. When the diaphragm is fully retracted, the choke should be pulled open to about 3/16". To achieve this gap, bend the small link rod on the passenger side to change the gap. It would be wise to check the pull-off diaphragm to see that it is working, also. When the engine is idling, the metal tab on the diaphragm should be pulled fully inward.

When cold starting your car, the fast idle should be around 2000 rpm. A quick tap on the pedal should drop this immediately to a lower rpm.
