The previous owner must have liked the smaller profile tire- I will eventually change the tires and go with a stock rim and tire. He did change the rear end also, which is why, I believe the speedo is so far off.
The difficulty I am having is counting the gear size inside the transmission as the gear I have (if it is the one that slides over the shaft, is not plastic. It is metal and I can count
7 gear slots.
I think I was looking at the wrong gear at first, so I am not exactly sure which gear meshes with the driven plastic gear.
