Mounting wise, the C5 and C6 calipers are the same. The C6 does appear to be a bit stronger because of the redesign of the cooling fins.
All pads are the same D731 for the front, D732 for the rear.
C6 and C6 Z51 are the same caliper, you just need a different caliper mounting bracket- Z51 is taller.
The rotor is larger 13.38 (C6 Z51) vs. 12.75(C5/C6), so a little more brake torque available. The Z51 rotors have the holes in them though- by now, there are some solid rotors available.

If you are going to convert to discs, you’ll need: brackets for either setup, rotors for either, pads for either, and a master cylinder/distribution valve for either.
The factory-style setup will require either machining your drum spindles or replacing them w/ disc spindles.

The Kore3 design for adapting Corvette brakes to your drum spindles will require a hub to mount the rotor. This is easily fabbed by using your front drum hub.
You’ll need to remove the brake drum from the hub, turn down the outside of the hub to fit inside the Corvette rotor, and replace the drum studs with longer ones.
Or they sell aluminum hubs. Either way, you now have slip-on rotor system that doesn’t require repacking bearing every time you surface/change the rotors.
The other benefit of the Kore3 vs. other brackets is Tobin designed his brackets so your wheels aren’t pushed out further.
You’ll need brake hoses that convert from SAE to metric banjo- he sells those at a good price.

I’m going to be doing a video on putting the Kore3 brackets on my 64 Tempest, but it’ll be a bit.
I do have some reference info on the C5/C6Z51 calipers/rotors/abutments on one of my videos.
